“Digital TV” Company has closed transactions for the sale of the largest packet of Russian animation to China`s biggest online cinemas.
Today Russian media group “Digital TV” has closed several deals on the sale of the rights to the largest pool in the history of animated series to China; the volume of pool exceeds 550 series. In the near future, they will be seen by subscribers of the largest online cinemas in China: Tencent video, iQIYI and Mango TV, whose total audience exceeds one billion people a month!
All cartoons have been adapted by Digital TV for promotion in China. They were translated and resounded into Chinese, changed the graphic, adjusted the scenarios taking into account cultural characteristics of the audience of the country. Thus, the Chinese partners – Tencent, iQIYI, Mango TV – will be able to begin demonstration of Russian animation to their followers very soon. Negotiation and support of transactions on the international market was carried out by exclusive distributor of the content of “Digital Television” – “Signal Media” Company.
China’s largest online cinema iQiyi, whose audience exceeds 500 million people per month, will place 7 animates series on its video platform: “Mi-mi-Mishki”, “Leo and Tig”, “Skazochniy patrul”, “Volshebniy Fonar”, “Parovoz Arkady speshit na pomosch”, “Derevyashki”, “Chetvero v Kube”.
Tencent Corporation, one of the largest media companies in the world, is actively developing fast messaging network called QQ in China, system for text and voice messages WeChat, as well as one of the largest online cinemas Tencent video. Monthly audience of video platform is more than 450 million people. Tencent will show 10 animated films from Russia on its resources: “Mi-Mi-Mishki”, “Bymazhki”, “Leo and Tig”, “Skazochcniy Patrul” “S. O. B. E. Z.”, “Volshebniy Fonar”, “Parovoz Arkady speshit na pomosch”, “Derevyashki”, “Chetvero v Kube” and “Heroes of Enville”.
Same animated series will be available for watching to more than 80 million active users of mango TV Internet service created by Hunan Broadcasting System and Hunan Satellite TV.
