Social network Odnoklassniki started testing of advanced statistics of videos in groups. The first access to the closed test was given to the groups of partners of social network: the largest by numbers of participants and the most active in the placement of content. The statistics will be available to all groups in the coming months.
Group owners can view data for views of videos in the group, get analytics of the unique audience and received feedback: classes, comments and reposts.
Statistics on general metrics of watching, video channels and individual videos will appear in a special section called “Video” in the group settings in the desktop version of OK. Administrators will be able to target a specific audience who viewed the video and its separation by gender, age, country, or platform.
For their convenience the owners of the group will be able to export the statistics for any period accurate to a specific video and with any distribution of the audience.

The share of professional videos significantly increased over the past year, the growth of viewing in groups was 73%. The total duration of viewing has increased by 63%. Video content in groups is actively placed by advertisers, bloggers, celebrities and media. New statistics will help authors to understand their audience and its reaction to published video in different formats better, it will help to create the right strategy to produce content and effectively promote it in social networks”
