INTERNET-CINEMA TVZAVR: IN NEW YEAR THE AUDIENCE FROM CIS COUNTRIES CHOSE SAME FILMS AS RUSSIANS

Internet-cinema tvzavr has analyzed the dynamics of film viewing in the main night of the year and New Year holidays in the CIS countries. Research of the analysts of tvzavr has shown that statistics on the countries, united by international organization, is not very different from Russia.

In New Year’s night the audience from the CIS was watching our classics and cartoons for free. During the holidays people most actively bought movie premieres of 2017 and Christmas movies of local production. Free of charge, only cartoons were in the top 10;”Fiksiki”, “Smeshariki” and “Masha and the bear” (Masha e Medved) were leading almost in all countries.

If you evaluate the statistics of tvzavr for the CIS as a whole, the picture is little different from Russia. In New Year’s night “Home Alone” (25,9%), “Kingsman: the Golden Circle” (13,4%), “Yolki 5” (12.1 %) became leaders in paid views. People often watched cartoons for free – “Fiksiki (44,9%), “Masha and the Bear” (17,6 “Simon’s cat” (14.3%) and “Kumi-Kumi” (9,5%).

During the New Year`s holidays viewers of tvzavr often bought the new movies – “Blade Runner 2049” (15.2 %), “Seven sisters” (14,3%), “Kingsman: the Golden Circle” (12,5%).

New Year`s Night
According to dynamics of views of tvzavr separately for the CIS “Home Alone” (22%), “The Mountain between Us” (13%) and “Seven Sisters” (13%) were the most popular by buying. “Fiksiki” (45%) “Masha and the bear” (Masha e Medved) (17%) and “Ironiya Sudbi” (10.3%) were watched for free.

In Ukraine, “Fiksiki” (27.5%), “Masha and the bear” (Masha e Medved) (20.1%) ans “Simon`s Cat” (13.8%) were watched for free the most in the main night of the year. The top ten also includes popular Christmas Comedy – “Ironiya Sudbi” (6.8 %), “The Best Day” (Samiy Luchshiy Den) (6,8%), “Wonderland”( 3.6 %).

According to tvzavr, in Belarus on new year’s night people watched “Fiksiki” (57,6%), “Masha and the Bear” (Masha e Medved)(22,6%), “Ironiya Sudbi” (5,8%), “Kumi-Kumi” (3,5%), “Wonderland” (2,7%), “Ivan Vasilyevich menyaet professiyu” (2,3%), “Naruto 9: path of the ninja” (1,9%), “Winnie-the-Pooh and all, all, all” (1,6%), “Wizards of a court yard” (Volshebniki Dvora) (1,2%) and “Holiday Christmas tree” (0.8 %).

In Kazakhstan on the new year`s night people often watched for free “Fiksiki” (45,6%), “Masha and the bear” (Masha e Medved)(22,1%), “Simon’s cat” (7,4%), “Kumi-Kumi” (6,8%), “Smeshariki. The new adventures” (3,9%), “Sultan Razia” (3,5%), “Belka and Strelka: ozornaya semeyka” (3%), Bubbles (2.9%), “Wizards of a court yard” (Volshebniki Dvora)(2,5%), “Smeshariki. Pin code” (2,3%).

“According to our information, holiday`s statistics of the CIS and Russia is absolutely predictable and not very different across countries and regions. Due to the fact that content in online cinema is consumed by immigrants from the former USSR, United by one language group, the views are caused by this characteristic. Free of charge people watched cartoons and local Comedies loved by everyone. Top 3 most popular films for free views on tvzavr were “Fiksiki” (44,35%), “Kumi-Kumi” (15,48%) and “Simon’s cat” (11,7%). In the top ten were also “Wonderland” (Of 5.81%), “Remember” (5.53 %), “The best day” (Samiy Luchshiy Den) (to 4.41%), “Yolki Lohmatie” (3,24%), “Deepwater horizon” (3,2%), “Wizards of a court yard”(Volshebniki Dvora) (3,15%) and “Icebreaker” (Ledokol) (3,12%).

In holidays in Ukraine the audience of tvzavr most often watched by payment “the Case of Kukotskiy” (Kazus Kukotskogo)(15,7%), “Seven Sisters” (14.7%), “Novogodniy reis” (13.4%). Top 10 also includes “Eclipse” (11,2%), “Matilda” (11,2%), “Jungle” (10,1%), “No right to mistake” (Bez prava na oshibku) (6,7%), “Yolki 5” (5.6%). For free people watched “Fiksiki” (37,2%), “Smeshariki” (17,6%), “Simon’s cat” (11,9%) and other cartoons. In addition, top 10 included “The best day”(Samiy Luchshiy Den) (2.2%) and “Wonderland” (2.1%).

In top 10 by paid views in tvzavr in Belarus were “Seven Sisters”, “Matilda” (15.7%), “Fiksiki. The big secret” (13.5 %), “Now You See Me2” (12.4%), “Foreigner” (11,2%), “Eclipse” (10,1%), “Time of the First”(Vremya Pervih) (6,7%) “Now You See Me” (5,6%), Bronze (3,4%), “Loving Vincent” (2.2%). For free people watched only cartoons. So, top of views of tvzavr opened by “Fiksiki” (38%) and “Smeshariki” (20,8%) and closed by “Nu, pogodi” (2.2%) and “Wizards of a court yard”(Volshebniki Dvora) (2.1%)

In other CIS countries, the audience chose cartoons for free. In the top 3 of Armenia were “Smeshariki” (26,8%), “Fiksiki” (22,5%), “Nu pogodi!” (18.8 %).

In Kazakhstan the audience of tvzavr most actively bought movies “Seven Sisters” (18.4%), “Fiksiki. The big secret” (13,0%), “Eclipse” (10.5%), “Emoji movie” (9,4%), “Jungle” (9.2%), “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead men tell no tales” (9,2%), “Guardians of the galaxy. Part 2” (9%), Captain Underpants: the First epic movie” (8,8%), “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (7,5%), “About love. Adults only” (Pro Lyubov. Tolko dlya vzroslih) (6,4%). The top 3 free views in Kazakhstan were “Fiksiki” (44,9%), “Smeshariki” (15,2%), “Musti” (8.7 %).

In Azerbaijan – “Fiksiki” (45,4%), “Nu pogodi!” (16,2%), “Masha and the Bear” (Masha e Medved) (10,5%). In Moldova – “Fiksiki” (44,3%), “Masha and the Bear”(Masha e Medved) (21,7%), “Smeshariki” (8,8%). In Kyrgyzstan – “Fiksiki” (37,5), “Simon’s Cat” (19,6%), “Smeshariki” (10.8%). In Turkmenistan – “Fiksiki” (19,4%), “Kumi-Kumi” (12,3%), “Wizards of a court yard”(Volshebniki Dvora) (11,9%).
