Sergei Anokhin has been appointed senior Vice President and Finance Director of Rostelecom.

In his new post he will be responsible for managing Finance, economy, investment and reporting, and will also lead procurement and implementation of projects to improve the operational efficiency of the company. He will also continue to be responsible for strategic planning and monitoring of the implementation of the strategy.

Sergey Nikolayevich Anokhin was born in Moscow in 1979. Graduated from Russian University of Economics named after G. V. Plekhanov, specialty “Finance and credit”.

He started his career in 2000 in the high-tech sector of SAS. In 2007 he moved to the banking sector for position of Vice President, head of VTB24 in retail, and since 2011 – Vice-President, Deputy chief financial officer. In 2014, he moved to the head Bank of VTB, where he headed the financial block of new business line.

In 2015-2016 during the accession of the Bank of Moscow to VTB Bank, he headed the planning and economic Department of the Bank of Moscow. In April 2017, he was appointed senior Vice President of Rostelecom and was responsible for strategic planning, innovation development, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and implementation of transformation and operational efficiency projects.
Management of these areas is distributed among members of management team.

Kai-Uwe Melhorn, who has held the position of CFO since 2013, will leave the company and focus on his own projects.
