The leader of the Russian market of premium pay TV and Internet subscription (SVOD) AMEDIA TV and the leading Hollywood Studio 20th Century Fox have expanded cooperation.

As a result of the new deal, Russian audience will see one of the most anticipated premieres of the year – Danny Boyle’s anthology “Trust” at the same time with the whole world. The first episode will appear in Amediateka and at AMEDIA Premium channel on March 26.

Also under the agreement, Russian viewers will be able to see the first season of Ryan Murphy’s anthology “Feud” and the fantastic dramedy of Set McFarlane “The Orville”. The rights to all three series will be extended for next seasons.

The extension of the exclusive portfolio is one of the main success factors of AMEDIA TV. In 2017, the company’s financial figures continued to grow: consolidated income increased by 30% compared to the same period of 2016 and amounted to 1.6 billion rubles, while the income of the online service of Amediateka increased by 64%. The SVOD’s share in the total income of AMEDIA TV in 2017 amounted to 55%, which shows a steady growth compared to the same indicators of previous years: 30% in 2015 and 45% in 2016.
