Russia’s largest online cinema ivi and Moscow Aviation Institute (national research University) are opening a joint master’s program “managing the process of software development”.
Ivi experts will take part in the development of the entire program, special courses, conducting joint events, setting tasks for project work and organization of internships for students. Also, students of the course will have the opportunity to attend special lectures and events of ivi Company. All this will help students to acquire applied knowledge in the field of information technology and will be a good starting point on the career path.
Recruitment for the new program will start in the summer of 2018, admission will be carried out on the basis of the results of entrance tests and a separate competition of portfolio. The course program is created based on the practical experience gained by experts of ivi, and implemented together with the Methodists of MAI.
Dmitry Voloshin, Advisor to the rector of the Moscow Aviation Institute, says: “We are pleased to partner with ivi, one of the technology leaders among Russian Internet companies. Employees of the company will become teachers of the program: they will share with students the latest knowledge from the dynamically developing IT-industry. During the training, students will have a deep understanding of various practical aspects.
Within the program, students will be able to choose one of the educational tracks for applied immersion: their own project as part of teams or work in project of ivi or MAI.
